One bet, the whole stake on a handicap
The logic was simple: Khachanov is a much better player and superior in every department, physically, mentally, on serve and on return. I was betting that the gap in class would show clearly on court. This time it just wasn't enough.
Khachanov won the match 6–2, 4–6, 7–6, but the −4.5 handicap was not covered: he won by a margin of 3 games (17 to 14) and we needed 5.
It was the first step of the plan after day 1: 5,000 RON now, 10,000 RON a day later, and if I lost that as well, the last 10,000 RON. With today's loss, two steps remain.
